Can you smell that? It's the smell of *sniff*.... nothing.
Can you hear that? *crickets* ....silence....and crickets of course.

For the first time in over a year I am taking a break from commissioned work. I was so excited about this that I forgot to receive payment for my last shoot on Friday (and that never ever happens, even with my bad memory). So only hours after the session was over, I was sitting in a pub with my friend and it suddenly dawned on me that I wasn't paid.

So 3 weeks of not shooting absolute strangers who I only see on the day itself.....3 weeks of not falling asleep behind the camera as I do cooperate work.....it's a good feeling. It also gives me time to do the things I like work-wise, and life-wise. Starting from today. Going to take my son to the Savannah to play a little game of football, Lord don't let it rain plzthnx<3.
